QuickBuy Manual
QuickBuy contains views for search results, barcode scanning, product details, filtering, history, and settings.
Search Results
QuickBuy's main view displays product search results. To search, enter product keywords (or a barcode) in the search bar at the top or tap the camera button on the top right to scan a barcode. Results are displayed as they are downloaded. Results may be sorted by tapping the Relevance, Price, Store, or Distance buttons below the search bar. When results are sorted by Store or Distance, tap a section header to phone or map the location. Tap a search result to view its details.

Barcode Scanning
Tap the camera button on the top right to scan a barcode. If available (and required), the device flash will be enabled. Position the device about 3-5 inches away from the barcode. An outline will be displayed around a recognizable barcode. Once a valid barcode is scanned, the search begins automatically.

Product Details
The product details view shows all available product and location/retailer info. This may include a product photo, name, manufacturer model/part number, MSRP and price, quantity, updated date/time, categories, description, retailer name, location address and phone, and distance from your current location. The description may contain a blue More... link at the end which loads the retailers product page. Tap the Open in Safari button to open the page in Safari. Tap the phone number to call the location or the Show Map button at the end to display a map (tap the Open in Maps button to show the location in the Maps app). Tap the email button on the top right of the view to email the product and location details (including map).

Filter
The Filter view allows you to filter the search results by specifying the minimum/maximum price, retailers, locations, distance, and categories. As criteria are modified, the number of filtered search results is displayed at the bottom of the view. Tap the Reset button at the top left to clear the filter.

History
The History view shows all previous search results. It displays either the keywords or barcode/product name along with the number of results found, price range, and the number of locations and retailers. It displays the search date on the right of the cell. Tap a cell to search for that item with your current location. To delete an item, swipe the item and tap the Delete button. To delete all items, tap the Clear button on the top left.

Settings
The Settings view allows you to configure QuickBuy, purchase an upgrade, and provides links to contact Tidal Pool Software.

Otherwise, a location must be manually entered if Use Current Location is disabled (or unable to locate the position). Enter any combination of street address, zip/postal code, city, and country.
